Block ExchangeQuilt Colorado participants are invited to make a block to participate in the block exchange. Everyone who submits a block has a chance to win and take home a set of signed quilt blocks to make a friendship wall quilt as a remembrance of Quilt Colorado 2012. Everyone who submits a block has a chance to win a set of blocks. You may enter as many blocks as you wish and you may win more than once. Block drawings will be held throughout the event and you need not be present to win.
Do you want to make your “Home Town” into a quilt block? This is an 8-½ inch square – unfinished. Here are some ideas for your House Blocks! Reverse your house. Add a steeple, fence, a turret. Have a bell, flag, critters, flowers. Embroider some trees, draw a branch (pigma pen), appliqué a bush. Is it winter? a ranch? a cabin? a village, the seaside? Made of stone, logs, brick.
